About RAD
Rieta Drinkwine, Lead Consultant and Founder of RAD Solutions Consulting, LLC has over 20 years of supervisory and administrative experience. She brings with her knowledge centered around communities and rural development, including navigating organizational change through strategic planning, managing and working with boards, and starting and revitalizing nonprofits. She is an experienced grant writer and administrator, who has generated more than $5.5 million dollars through grants and nontraditional revenue streams from 2016-2024, including using historic tax credits. Rieta prides herself on working with and leading diverse teams to create exceptional outcomes, and under her leadership she has secured numerous state and national recognitions for her organizations, including a South Carolina Preservation Honor Award and being named a finalist for the National Medal for Museum and Library Service.
She earned a Bachelors from University of Kansas (2009), a Masters in Library Science from Indiana University (2011), and both a Masters in City and Regional Planning (2022) and Doctorate in Planning, Design, and the Built Environment (2023) from Clemson University.
